I moved to Wilmington in 2021 with my husband, trading the rugged mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire for sunshine, warm ocean water, and a little more adventure. I’m happiest outside—hiking, surfing, exploring somewhere new, and now doing it all with our daughter, Luna.
Before photography, I spent ten years working as an Environmental Scientist in the state government. I never imagined I’d become a photographer. Then, while planning our Hawaii elopement in 2020, I bought my first camera simply to document our travels and the epic landscapes along the way.
The second I got behind the camera, I felt like I had found something that was completely me. I loved creating what was uniquely mine.
Before long, friends and family were asking me to photograph their families and special moments, and I photographed my first wedding that October. When I came home from that wedding, I told my husband, “I was made to do this.”
Then I became a mom to my sweet Luna—and motherhood changed the way I see the world, the way I photograph it and the way that I connect with the families I photograph.
I suddenly understood just how quickly these seasons pass and how the little, everyday moments often become the ones we treasure most.
I care less about creating the perfect photograph and more about creating one that makes you feel something—one that captures the essence of a moment and lets you relive it again and again.
I understand couples who want a wedding day that feels relaxed, intentional, and centered around each other—not a performance for everyone else.
